What a first week! First stretch goal unlocked!

Well, you are keeping us on our toes! We could hardly imagine that our Week One update would be celebrating meeting our FIRST stretch goal target and being well on the way to our SECOND! Thank you so much to generous backers who keep pledging to make The Woolly Good Gathering such an exciting event! But what does this mean in practice?

Meeting our FIRST stretch goal means that we can secure a second area - The Library Gallery (on the ground floor of Summerhall) as well as the Main Hall (first floor) so the Marketplace will be spread over two rooms. This give us room for our list of vendors (more on them soon!) but we have been careful to put space and accessibility above anything else, so we've spent today working out a new floor plan with seating in each room.

We are so close to our SECOND stretch target too! This is a smaller jump, but a special one, as it will allow us to create a printed commemorative programme rather than just a digital download. This will include a festival map and schedule, our two Woolly Good shawl patterns (knit from Iolair Yarn, crochet from Knitrospective), some articles and our guide for lovely things to eat, do and visit in the city.

We know plenty of people will have been waiting for their December pay check to land before pledging. Don't worry - there are still lots of rewards available, including at very affordable price points and for ticket bundles (and remember every pledge is entered into our prize competition for a bouquet of yarny gifts!).
