Sarah will present a 60-minute talk with a Q&A session, covering all that you need to know to start plant dyeing small amounts of yarn in your kitchen on a limited budget. A workbook will be available to purchase as part of the talk for you to take away and use as your own dyeing diary.
Sarah Clarkson is a textile designer based in Edinburgh working as Woolly Originals. She creates machine knit bags for artists and crafters to use for their projects and tools. Originally a medical herbalist with a passion for painting, Sarah has taken all these skills and combined them to plant dye the yarns for her business.
An optional workbook will be available as a companion to (or memento of) the talk. There will be Left-Handed and Right-Handed versions. Cost: £10.
